Web-based Learning Courses for Gifted/More Able Students 網上資優課程
(offered by EDB and HKAGE 由教育局及香港資優教育學苑提供）

The HKAGE and the Education Bureau (EDB) offer 5 web-based learning courses for all gifted/more able students in primary 4 to secondary 6 in Hong Kong:

1) Mathematics Web-based Learning Course (MATO3920)
2) Sciences Web-based Learning Course -- Astronomy (SCIO1302) (天文學)
3) Sciences Web-based Learning Course -- Earth Science (SCIO1303) (地球科學)
4) Sciences Web-based Learning Course -- Paleontology (SCIO1304) (古生物學)
5) Humanities Web-based Learning Course -- The Changing Hong Kong Economy (HUMO1570) (轉變中的香港經濟))
* All courses can be studied in Chinese or English. Students can apply for one course only.

*If you wish to have a look at the course outlines, you can contact the corresponding subject teachers or Ms FL Chow (Staff Room 2).

Important notes about the web-based learning courses:
 Each course consists of 3 levels.
 Students must complete their learning and obtain the passing mark in the End-of-Level Test of each level in order to enter the next level.
 Only 3 attempts are allowed for each End-of-Level Test. Students who failed all 3 attempts will not be able to enter the next level.
 If students are interested to become a student member of HKAGE in the future, they will need to complete any one of the courses and pass the level 3 test.

*Interested students need to submit:
•Name (Chinese & English)
•HKID
•Date of birth
•Class
•Email address (will be used as login name of for the student account)
•Phone number
•Programme applying (Choose one only)
•Programme language (Chinese or English)

Students must get their parent's/ legal guardian's approval for their applications.

Application method: submit the relevant information to your subject teacher or Ms FL Chow (email is preferred)
Application deadline: 5pm, 4 Dec 2017 (Monday)
